Y Sports, a part of YMCA St Helens has organised the first St Helens Colour Run in collaboration with delivery partners St Helens Sports Development and the Saints Community Foundation.
The St Helens Colour Run is a Non-competitive family fun event taking place over a 4KM route. Participants are encouraged to run, jog, walk or make their way around the planned route anyway they wish – This is not a race!
Participants are invited to paint the town red – and yellow and blue, and many other colours along 4KM route as they are showered with coloured powder.
The event will take place Sunday 23rd September 9.00AM, starting and finishing at The Totally Wicked Stadium.
The aim of the event is to generate funds for a Youth Sports Engagement Programme that offers free participation opportunities in sports and physical activities for young people across the borough.
