The Beacon Coffee Shop officially opened its doors to the public on 27 August.
The official opening ceremony included a ribbon cutting led by Mayor Councillor Stephen Little, who joined guests in celebrating the launch of the new community coffee space. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to take a look at the coffee shop and community library, enjoy refreshments, and learn more about the venue’s role in bringing people together and supporting the local community.
The Beacon Coffee Shop has been created as a welcoming and inclusive space where people can connect, relax, and enjoy tasty food and drinks in a friendly environment.
Karen Nolan CEO YMCA St Helens said “We are delighted to have officially opened The Beacon Coffee Shop and would like to extend our thanks to the Mayor for performing the ribbon cutting ceremony. We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who attended the launch event and helped make the day a success. We look forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces through our doors in the weeks and months ahead.”
The Beacon Coffee Shop is now open to the general public, offering a warm and inviting space for the community to meet, socialise, and enjoy a range of hot drinks, sandwiches and pastries.
